Snowfall Spin-Off Set for September Release on FX and Hulu

Exciting news for “Snowfall” fans! The popular FX show is getting a spin-off called “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga,” set to premiere on Tuesday, September 8th at 9/8c. You can catch all the action on FX or stream it on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. The eight-episode series will reveal more about Wanda Bell and Leon Simmons as they navigate ’90s Los Angeles amidst the crack epidemic and the rise of West Coast rap.

Wanda Bell, played by Gail Bean, is motivated to reshape American culture through West Coast rap. She’ll gather a group of talented individuals to achieve their dreams, including her cousins and a local rapper named Artillery. As Wanda pursues opportunities with Darryl “DG” Grant, tensions rise between her and Leon, who is striving to leave his past behind and focus on his legal clinic.

In addition to Gail Bean and Isaiah John, the spin-off features an incredible cast including Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith, Simmie “Buddy” Sims III, Brandon Mychal Smith, and many more. With a talented team of executive producers leading the way, this spin-off promises to be just as enthralling as the original series.
