Viu and iQiyi International Partner to Launch Streaming Bundle in Southeast Asia

Asian streaming giants Viu and iQiyi International are teaming up to bring viewers an exciting new bundled subscription option in the second half of 2026. This collaboration will give audiences access to a wide range of content from both platforms in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

The big reveal took place at the APOS conference in Bali, Indonesia on June 17, marking iQiyi International’s first foray into cross-regional streaming partnerships. This means that subscribers will be able to enjoy a mix of Viu Originals, popular Korean and Chinese dramas, Southeast Asian productions, and Viu Shorts micro-dramas, alongside iQIYI International’s own library of originals, Chinese and Southeast Asian dramas, films, anime, variety shows, and micro-dramas.

Exciting titles to look out for include Viu Originals like “The Season” and “Kidnap Game,” as well as Chinese dramas such as “Zhan Zhao Adventures” and “Zong Ran.” iQIYI International will bring titles like “Pursuit Of Jade” and “Speed And Love” to the table, along with local original dramas like Thai drama “Khemjira,” Indonesian drama “The Other Sister,” and Malay drama “Griya.” Plus, keep an eye out for upcoming releases such as “Key To The Phoenix Heart” and “Overdo.”

Viu, operated by Hong Kong-based PCCW, is a key player in the video streaming scene across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. Meanwhile, iQiyi International is known for delivering top-notch Asian content to viewers in over 190 territories and in 13 languages.

According to Yang Xianghua, president of iQIYI, this partnership with Viu represents a significant step in expanding their presence in Southeast Asia. Fans can expect even more value and entertainment as these two platforms join forces to create a seamless viewing experience for audiences across the region.
