Restored JACKASS Seasons 1–3 Now Available on Paramount+

Fans of Jackass can finally relive the craziness of the iconic MTV series the way it was meant to be seen. Paramount+ has officially brought back Seasons 1 through 3 of Jackass in fully restored versions, undoing years of edits and changes that frustrated the original creators. According to Paramount, these episodes are the definitive cuts of the series, restored to match the way they originally aired when Jackass first hit TV screens 25 years ago.

This restoration effort came directly from the show’s creators, including Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jonze, who fought to preserve the series in its intended form. Knoxville shared how the old streaming versions had strayed from the originals when announcing the relaunch. He expressed his excitement about bringing back the shows in their initial broadcast state and assured fans that they would see all the crazy stunts they did to each other back in the day just as they intended.

The original seasons were temporarily removed from Paramount+ at the end of 2025 for the production team to restore key creative elements that had been altered over the years. This restoration involved edits to episode structure, music, sequencing, and other changes that affected the original energy of the show. For fans who grew up watching the Jackass crew wreak havoc and go to extremes for laughs, this restoration is like opening a time capsule from the early 2000s.

The timing coincides with the upcoming theatrical release of Jackass: Best and Last on June 26, showing that there is still a significant audience eager to revisit the franchise that defined chaotic stunt comedy for a generation. The restored versions of Jackass Seasons 1 through 3 are currently available on Paramount+ in the U.S., with plans to roll them out internationally soon.
