Sepideh Moafi, known for her role as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi in the popular medical drama “The Pitt,” recently received her first Emmy nomination for supporting actress in a drama series. Moafi’s character, who takes on the role of chief physician during a sabbatical of another character, brought a fresh leadership style to the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.
