Will Ferrell Netflix Comedy Promo Brings “The Hawk” Bus to Centerville [Date/Time]
Exciting news for comedy fans in Centerville! Will Ferrell’s new Netflix series, “The Hawk,” is making a stop in town as part of its promotional tour. The Centerville High School stadium is the place to be today, July 3, and tomorrow, July 4, during the Americana Festival and parade.
This special visit is all thanks to Centerville City Schools alum Jeff Rapoch, from the class of 2009. The bus tour, featuring games, prizes, photo ops, and maybe even a sighting of Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins (played by Will Ferrell), will continue across the East Coast.
“The Hawk” is a comedy series about a top golfer facing the challenges of the later years of his career. Despite pressure from his ex-wife and son, Lonnie is determined to make a grand comeback in golf history by winning one more major tournament.
