The Mummy Movie by Lee Cronin to Release on HBO Max

Horror fans, get ready! “Lee Cronin’s The Mummy” is coming to HBO Max on July 3rd. This supernatural horror film, released by New Line Cinema on April 17th, is directed and written by Lee Cronin and features a talented cast including Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Verónica Falcón.

The movie follows the chilling story of a journalist’s daughter who mysteriously disappears into the desert, only to reappear eight years later, turning the family’s reunion into a harrowing nightmare.

“Lee Cronin’s The Mummy” drew in over $90 million worldwide on a mid-$20 million budget, according to a previous Variety interview with Cronin. Before this project, Cronin helmed the horror film “Evil Dead Rise” in 2023, “The Hole in the Ground” in 2019, and contributed to the TV series “50 States of Fright.” Fans can also look forward to the upcoming release of “Evil Dead Burn” on July 10th, in which Cronin serves as an executive producer.
