2026 NBA Summer League Schedule Features Prime Video Debut

The NBA Summer League is shaking things up this year with a new TV partner. Say goodbye to NBA TV and hello to Prime Video as the league unveils its 2026 broadcast schedule. But don’t worry, you can still catch the rest of the Summer League action on ESPN platforms, just like before.

It all kicks off on Thursday, July 9, with the Minnesota Timberwolves facing off against the New Orleans Pelicans at 3:30 p.m. ET on Prime Video. Exciting matchups will be split between Prime Video and ESPN, with ESPN’s marquee games featuring top draft picks squaring off.

Prime Video will also air a prime time showdown between the Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls, showcasing top draft selections like Cameron Boozer and Caleb Wilson. The Summer League semifinals will be on Prime Video on Saturday, July 18, followed by the championship game on ESPN the next night.

This will be Prime Video’s first time airing Summer League games, adding to its expanding sports coverage. The shift comes as part of Amazon’s media rights deal with the NBA, which started this past regular season.

If you’re a die-hard fan, you’ll need to catch these games on Prime Video to see the full national schedule. And while past Summer League games aired locally, it’s uncertain if that will continue this year. So get ready to stream some top-notch basketball action and see the NBA stars of tomorrow face off in the 2026 Summer League.
