Location Managers Guild Nominations: ‘One Battle’ and ‘Pluribus’ Highlighted

“One Battle After Another,” “F1,” and “Pluribus” are just a few of the outstanding movies and TV shows that have been nominated for the Location Managers Guild International Awards.

These awards, now in its 13th year, are set to take place on August 22 at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica. The LMGI Awards received a record number of submissions from all over the globe, showcasing the importance of locations in storytelling and filmmaking.

Some noteworthy mentions include Paul Thomas Anderson shooting his award-winning film in nine counties in California and El Paso, Texas, while Joseph Kosinski filmed “F1” in between races at various Formula 1 racing tracks around the world.

This year, the event will honor Location Manager Mike Fantasia with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on nearly 40 feature films. Additionally, the LMGI Humanitarian Award will be presented to the Environmental Media Association for their efforts in promoting sustainable production practices in the film and television industry.

Nancy Haecker will chair the 2026 LMGI Awards Committee, and the event will be produced by IngleDodd Media and Erick Weiss of Honeysweet Creative. It’s shaping up to be an exciting and inspiring event celebrating the art of location management in the entertainment industry.
