Jan Blachowicz vs Bogdan Guskov Rematch Set for UFC Belgrade on August 1

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz is set for a rematch with Top 10-ranked contender Bogdan Guskov at the upcoming UFC Belgrade event on Aug. 1, 2026. The event will take place at Belgrade Arena in Serbia and was officially announced by the UFC on social media.

Blachowicz had to postpone their previously scheduled rematch due to a torn meniscus he suffered during training camp. Originally planned for the UFC 328 fight card last month in Newark, the rematch was put on hold. Guskov had expressed interest in fighting Paulo Costa instead, but matchmakers decided on the rematch with Blachowicz.

The two fighters, Blachowicz with a record of 29-11-2 and Guskov with a record of 18-3-1, fought to a draw at UFC 323 last December. The UFC Belgrade event will be headlined by a welterweight showdown between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez, with other exciting matchups scheduled, including Aleksandar Rakic jumping to heavyweight to face Marcin Tybura and Ante Delija taking on Johnny Walker in a heavyweight bout.
