The Boroughs Cancelled After One Season on Netflix

Netflix has announced that “The Boroughs” has been canceled after just one season. This Duffer Brothers drama premiered on May 21 but failed to secure a renewal. Although there were discussions about filming Seasons 2 and 3 back to back, tepid viewership numbers led to the show’s quick demise. “The Boroughs,” created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, was set in a charming retirement community where a diverse group of heroes, portrayed by Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, and Clarke Peters, worked together to prevent a monstrous threat from stealing time. The series only produced eight episodes, leaving fans to wonder what could have been. Are you disappointed to see it go?
