Netflix quietly removes canceled show with perfect Rotten Tomatoes score

Netflix will be quietly saying goodbye to the popular show “Sneaky Pete” on July 10, 2026. Originally added to the platform almost a year ago, the show received rave reviews with a 97% rating for its first season, 92% for its second season, and a perfect 100% for its third and final season. It’s leaving Netflix in several countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

If you’re a fan of “Sneaky Pete,” you have until the removal date to catch up on all 30 episodes of the series before it disappears from Netflix. Even with over 700 new titles coming out each year, Netflix still likes to feature shows from other platforms for its 200 million monthly users to enjoy.

The show follows the character Marius, played by Giovanni Ribisi, as a con man trying to start fresh by taking on the identity of his cell mate, Pete. To keep his new life intact, Marius has to navigate a world of secrets and unexpected challenges.

Initially introduced on Netflix in the United States in July 2025, “Sneaky Pete” will be leaving the streaming platform soon. Australia and the UK will see it go on July 9, 2026, while the US and Canada will bid farewell on July 10, 2026. Other countries like Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland can expect it to leave around July 25 or 26.

Despite its critical success, with a 97% rating after the first season, 92% after the second, and a perfect 100% for the third and final season on Rotten Tomatoes, “Sneaky Pete” will be wrapping up its run on Netflix soon. So make sure to catch it before it’s gone!
