Review of “Colors of Evil Black”
COLORS OF EVIL: BLACK is a Netflix movie from Poland, and it’s the second movie in a series. The runtime is 1 hour and 50 minutes, and it could have been a series, but works great as a feature film too. The movie is quite brutal and deals with difficult topics like crimes against children.
The story follows prosecutor Leopold Bilski, who is now in a seemingly peaceful town in Kashubia, but things are not as they seem. The movie opens with a crime that happened two years earlier, and as another child goes missing, Bilski is determined to get to the bottom of it.
Just like in the first movie, this film uses flashbacks that might confuse you if you’re not paying attention. The ending of COLORS OF EVIL: BLACK ties up all the loose ends and gives you the answers you need.
The production quality of Polish productions is fantastic, and the actors are extremely talented. The performances in this movie are powerful and heartbreaking, so be prepared for an emotional ride. COLORS OF EVIL: BLACK is brutal and intense, so be warned, but it’s definitely worth watching on Netflix now.
