Katey Sagal to Star in Apple TV+ Comedy Series with Ted Danson and Elizabeth Banks

Katey Sagal, known for her roles in iconic TV shows like “Married With Children” and “Sons of Anarchy,” has joined the cast of an upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series. The show, created by Liz Heldens and Matt Ward, also stars Elizabeth Banks, Ted Danson, and Rob Delaney. Sagal will play Mavis, the new girlfriend of Danson’s character.

The series follows Banks’ character, Heidi, as she navigates life after a messy divorce and finds herself caught up in her father’s retirement community shenanigans. Forced to team up with her father’s girlfriend’s son, Heidi embarks on a lively second act for herself and her kids.

Sagal’s recent roles include appearances in “The Conners,” “Rebel,” and “Shameless,” as well as the Netflix live-action version of “One Piece.” Fans can look forward to seeing her bring Mavis to life in this new comedy series. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
