25% of Consumers Prefer Paramount Plus and HBO Max Bundle Over Standalone Access
New research shows that a merging of the Paramount+ and HBO Max streaming services, under one parent company, could be a hit with consumers. The potential bundle is drawing interest from viewers who like the idea of getting two services for a single, discounted price.
After just one year, bundled subscribers are more likely to stick with their subscription compared to those with standalone access, according to data from Antenna. And a recent study by Hub Entertainment Research revealed that 23% of respondents would prefer a $19.99 monthly subscription for both Paramount+ and HBO Max, as opposed to standalone access.
Interestingly, when compared to a bundle featuring Disney+, HBO Max, and Hulu, the Paramount+/HBO Max duo still garnered approval at 23%. This data indicates a strong potential for the future of these two popular services under one umbrella.
