CrimeCon Clue Awards Winners: ‘Only Murders in the Building’ and ’48 Hours’
Hulu scored big at this year’s CrimeCon Clue Awards, with “Only Murders in the Building” taking home the award for outstanding scripted series, and “Girl on the Run: The Hunt for America’s Most Wanted” snagging the prize for outstanding docuseries. The awards were announced at the 2026 edition of the Clue Awards during a ceremony hosted by former “Dateline” correspondent Chris Hansen, now the host of “Takedown With Chris Hansen.”
CrimeCon, a three-day event held this year at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is dedicated to honoring true crime content across TV, film, podcasts, and publishing. The awards recognize outstanding contributions in the true crime genre.
In addition to these wins, Jeffrey Epstein survivors Jena-Lisa Jones, Haley Robson, and Courtney Wild were honored as Crimefighters of the Year for their work with The Survivors, Inc., a group dedicated to supporting sexual assault survivors. They were presented with the award by 2025 honorees Becky Patty, Mike Patty, and Tara German, the families of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.
This year’s “America’s Greatest Detective” winners were also announced by Law&Crime, with detectives Tara Augustin and Alyson Dupouy from Maryland’s Montgomery County PD recognized for their efforts in solving the Leslie Preer cold case.
Overall, the 2026 Clue Award winners showcased the best in true crime content across various media platforms.
