Bethlehem Police Officer Sean Reifel Joins ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Cast
Sean Reifel, a former Bethlehem police officer, is set to appear on the upcoming eighth season of “Love Island USA,” premiering on June 2 on Peacock. Although Reifel was initially announced as part of the cast, he is no longer with the Bethlehem Police Department, according to the department’s announcement on Friday.
Reifel, 29, is among the 12 Islanders cast for the upcoming season of the reality dating series. Despite the lack of details on when and why he left the force, Peacock’s casting materials and the show’s teaser still identify him as a police officer.
Having been sworn in as Officer No. 532 in August 2025, Reifel resides in Easton and is a father to a 2-year-old son. Unlike many of his fellow contestants, he is not a model or content creator, but rather embraced his role as a police officer in a teaser for the show.
On the show, Reifel will join a group of single contestants who live together in a villa, compete for a cash prize, and navigate eliminations and new arrivals. The new season will stream daily on Peacock, excluding Wednesdays. Ariana Madix will return as host for her third season, with Iain Stirling serving as the narrator.
Interestingly, Reifel is not the only contestant with Pennsylvania ties. Sincere Rhea, a former Penn State track athlete, is also part of the cast. Despite his participation in the show, there have been no official comments from the department regarding Reifel’s casting.
For fans eager to watch the drama unfold, they can catch the eighth season of “Love Island USA” exclusively on Peacock starting June 2.
