Netflix & CBS Dominate Multi-Platform Ratings 2025-26 Season

The 2025-26 TV season brought some familiar faces to the top of the charts, with Netflix and CBS dominating the multi-platform ratings. “Stranger Things” once again took the crown as the most-watched series, pulling in a whopping 32.9 million viewers in just 35 days. That’s more than 7 million viewers ahead of the second-place show, “His & Hers,” which drew in 25.6 million viewers during the same time frame. These numbers are based on Nielsen data until April 12, the most recent week for which we have 35-day ratings.

It’s no surprise that Netflix claimed the top spot for the second year in a row, continuing its streak of hits with “Stranger Things.” Meanwhile, CBS also made a splash with “Marshals,” its top-ranking network show this season, coming in third overall with 20.7 million viewers. CBS also had another drama, “Tracker,” with 16.4 million viewers, and ABC’s “High Potential” with 16 million viewers crack the top 10 across all platforms.

This season showcased the power of streaming, with both Netflix and CBS putting out hit after hit. “Stranger Things” and “Marshals” led the charge, captivating audiences and solidifying their spots as must-watch shows. Viewership numbers don’t lie, and these shows continue to prove that quality content will always find its audience.
