The Summer House reunion brought some intense drama with Amanda Batula and West Wilson finally addressing their past actions. The duo entered the reunion with a lot of explaining to do after months of hiding the truth from their friends and fans. West tried to clarify the situation, framing it as more of a “hanging out with my friend’s ex-wife and my ex’s best friend scandal” rather than a typical sex scandal. Amanda, on the other hand, expressed a desire to apologize and take responsibility, but failed to do so during the first hour of the reunion.

Their awkward and unconvincing appearance didn’t help their case, leaving many viewers scratching their heads. It felt like they were aiming for a romantic Before Sunrise vibe but ended up closer to the confusion of The Graduate’s ending.
