2026 Supercross Season Breaks Streaming Records

The 2026 Supercross season has broken records as the most-streamed season ever! NBC Sports brought us the exciting coverage of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season from January 10 to May 10, and fans flocked to watch the action on NBC, Peacock, NBCSN, and NBC Sports Digital. Thanks to Nielsen Big Data + Panel and Adobe Analytics, we’ve got the numbers to back it up.

Peacock played a huge role in making this season a hit, with a 12% increase in streaming compared to last year. With all 17 races available live on Peacock, unique viewership jumped by 27%, and fans watched over a billion minutes faster than ever before. The milestone was achieved at the Denver race on May 2, a new record compared to last year’s mark set on May 24 at Fox Raceway.

The viewership numbers speak for themselves, with the two most-watched Supercross races ever on Peacock being Anaheim 1 and Anaheim 2. The Salt Lake City finale on May 9 also made it into the top five, showing how the sport’s popularity is steadily growing.

On NBC and Peacock, the seven races had an average Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 468,000 viewers, up by 8% from last year. Race Day Live, the pre-race show, saw a 9% increase in viewership growth this season, with the Houston show on January 31 being the most-watched installment to date.

The nail-biting season finale in Salt Lake City on May 9 saw Ken Roczen clinch his first Supercross championship after 13 seasons in the 450SMX Class. One of the closest finishes in Supercross history, Roczen, at 32 years old, became the oldest champion in Supercross history. Meanwhile, Cole Davies took home the victory in the Dave Coombs Sr. 250SMX East/West Showdown.

The excitement continues with the Pro Motocross season starting at Fox Raceway National in Pala, Calif., on Saturday, May 30, at 3:30 p.m. ET on Peacock.

NBC Sports and the SMX League have extended their media rights partnership, with this year marking the fourth season of the SMX World Championship. Bringing together Supercross and Pro Motocross, the championship playoffs and final will run from September 12 to September 26.
