Hulu’s New Series “Hunting Whitey Bulger” Starring Ben Affleck

The upcoming docuseries, currently titled “Hunting Whitey Bulger,” will feature never-before-seen handwritten letters from prison and key players speaking on camera for the first time. Directed by Zackary Canepari, known for his work on “Flint Town,” and produced by Tom Forman’s Terminal B TV company, the series promises to tell the definitive inside story of the pursuit, capture, and killing of Bulger.
Executive producers include David Metzler, Kyle Wheeler, Claire Read, Casey Sherman, Dave Wedge, and Jesse Kerns, all of whom bring their expertise to the project. The involvement of Ben Affleck as narrator adds star power to the series and is likely to attract a larger audience to Hulu’s true crime documentary offerings.
