Despite the message implying a user-side issue, social media reactions suggested it was, in fact, a problem with Paramount+.

Investigations revealed that the match had been mistakenly promoted on the CBS Sports website as available on Paramount+ and briefly visible on the Paramount+ app. However, CBS Sports had decided to exclusively show the game on CBS Sports Network, requiring a cable or live TV provider login for access. Despite this decision, the CBS Sports website continued to promote coverage on Paramount+.
