Watch ‘Driver’s Ed’ Film Filmed in Wilmington Now Available on Amazon Prime Video

A movie filmed right here in Wilmington is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. “Driver’s Ed,” featuring Molly Shannon and Kumail Nanjiani, made its debut on May 15th. Filmed in Wilmington last year, the movie showcases familiar locations like UNCW, Paul’s Place, and Buen Dia, with a special appearance from WECT’s Frances Weller.

The plot, according to IMDb, revolves around a group of teenagers who swipe their school’s driver’s ed car for a road trip. Their mission? To help a high school senior reunite with his college-freshman girlfriend.
