Top 10 Prime-Time NFL Games in the 2026 Schedule

In 2026, the NFL schedule is looking a bit different from what we’re used to – but in a good way! Forget just Sundays, this year will have football on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings too. And the best part? No more worries about COVID impacting the games!

With games spread out across different days and networks, the prime-time schedule is packed with exciting matchups. The Rams, with their high-flying offense led by MVP Matthew Stafford, are leading the charge with seven prime-time games, including three in the first three weeks. The Super Bowl champion Seahawks are right behind them with six prime-time slots on the schedule.

Surprisingly, five teams – the Cardinals, Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, and Titans – didn’t make the cut for any prime-time games. Despite these teams not getting a chance to shine under the lights, the 2026 schedule is still subject to change. Games can be flexed in and out of prime-time slots, giving these teams a shot at some evening action later in the season.

Before we get to the top games to watch out for, here are a few that just missed the cut: Cowboys at Giants in Week 1 on a Sunday, Rams at Broncos in Week 3 on a Sunday, Seahawks at Broncos in Week 6 on a Thursday, Chiefs at Seahawks in Week 7 on a Sunday, and Chiefs at Rams in Week 13 on a Thursday.

And now, without further ado, here are the top 10 prime-time games to look forward to:
