Ella Bright Shines as ‘Off Campus’ Star

Ella Bright, known for her work in the British children’s series Malory Towers, was gearing up for a typical college experience before landing a role in the new Prime Video series, “Off Campus.”

At a crossroads between focusing on her A-level exams and thinking about college, Ella decided to go on one last audition. Little did she know, she would land the lead role of college music student Hannah Wells in the romance series.

In a whirlwind month of auditions and decision-making, Ella found herself fully committed to the show, putting her college plans on hold. She describes the experience as daunting but ultimately a dream come true for her.

“Off Campus” is based on the Elle Kennedy book series and follows a college hockey team and the women in their lives at Briar University. The first season of the show will center around Ella’s character, Hannah, and Belmont Cameli’s character, Garrett Graham, bringing to life the story from the first book in Kennedy’s series, “The Deal.”

Ella expresses her love for the character of Hannah, stating that she immediately fell in love with the story when she first read it. The show promises to tackle typical college experiences along with some heavier topics, following a similar strategy to Netflix’s hit show, “Bridgerton.”

With her quick rise to fame in “Off Campus,” Ella Bright is a young actress to watch as she skates into the spotlight in this new hockey romance series.
