Peacock Developing Fast & Furious Series with Nick Wootton and Charmaine DeGraté

Big news in the Fast & Furious universe! Vin Diesel recently announced at the NBCUniversal Upfront that Peacock is working on not just one, but four series set in the heart-pounding world of Fast & Furious.

The first series, developed by Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman, is already in the works at Peacock through Universal Television. As for the other three projects, they are currently in the early development stages under the guidance of Nick Wootton, Charmaine DeGraté, Ingrid Escajeda, and Joe Henderson. These talented writers are crafting unique scripts, all coming from Universal Television.

While details about the specific series are still under wraps, we know that they will explore the action-packed realm of Fast & Furious, capturing the essence of street racing, heists, and yes, even space adventures.

One exciting collaboration involves Wootton and DeGraté teaming up on a project. Wootton, known for his work on NBC’s The Endgame, Law & Order, and NYPD Blue, joins forces with DeGraté, whose credits include Amazon’s Daisy Jones & The Six and HBO’s House of the Dragon.

Meanwhile, Escajeda, the showrunner of Netflix’s Griselda, and Henderson, the mastermind behind Lucifer, are each working on separate series within the Fast & Furious universe.

Vin Diesel himself will serve as an executive producer alongside Samantha Vincent, Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Chris Morgan. Diesel emphasized the importance of expanding the legacy characters and stories of Fast & Furious while maintaining the integrity and international appeal that fans have come to love.
