Adam Scott auditions for Hellraiser 6 after character’s death

Adam Scott, known for his roles in film and television, once tried to make a surprising comeback in the “Hellraiser” franchise. Despite his character meeting a violent end in “Hellraiser: Bloodline,” Scott auditioned for a part in “Hellraiser: Hellseeker” in 2002.

In a recent interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Scott shared his experience and admitted that he was initially confused by the prospect of returning to a franchise where his character had already died. He revealed that his agent sent him the audition for “Hellraiser 6,” and he had a moment of realization, saying, “Wait a second… I was in ‘Hellraiser 4.'”

However, Scott decided to go for it, thinking, “Screw it. Maybe they won’t notice that I was in Hellraiser 4.” During the audition process, he tried to remain incognito in the waiting room, hoping that producers wouldn’t recognize him from the previous film. Unfortunately, he did not land the role in the end.

Reflecting on his early role in “Hellraiser: Bloodline,” Scott considers it a significant break in his career, even though the experience had its challenges. Despite not getting the part in the sixth installment, the audition process provided a humorous and memorable anecdote for the talented actor.
