New Movies and TV Shows Available for Streaming in May

As we say goodbye to an amazing lineup of new and returning TV shows, May brings a bit of a breather in terms of new streaming content. If you’re still catching up on shows like “Hacks” and “Euphoria,” you’re in luck because May is a bit quieter in terms of new releases.

HBO’s big title for the month is the new “Wuthering Heights” movie starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. Meanwhile, Netflix is focusing more on movies and specials, including the film adaptation of the hit novel “Remarkably Bright Creatures” (May 8), the body-swap comedy “Ladies First” (May 22), and a live roast of Kevin Hart as part of the Netflix is a Joke Festival (May 10).

At the end of the month, Netflix will drop the second season of the Tina Fey dramedy “The Four Seasons” on May 28. We’re curious to see if Steve Carell will be involved this time around, given the events of Season 1.

Prime Video also has some exciting titles coming out this month. Look out for the second season of “Citadel” on May 6, the return of John Krasinski in “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War” on May 20, and Nicolas Cage voicing the hero in “Spider-Noir” on May 27.
