Celtics vs Sixers Game 5 Recap: Philadelphia Dominates Second Half, Forces Game 6

The Boston Celtics faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 5, and unfortunately, the C’s fell short with a final score of 113-97. The Sixers came out strong in the second half, outscoring the Celtics 63-40 and holding Boston to just 11 points in the fourth quarter, their lowest of the season in any quarter. The Celtics closed the game with 14 missed field goals in a row.

Joel Embiid of the Sixers led the game with an impressive 33 points, while Jayson Tatum did his best for the Celtics with 24 points and 16 rebounds. The series will now head to Game 6 in Philadelphia on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET, airing on Peacock/NBC Sports Network.
