Spider-Noir Official Trailer Revealed: Prime Video’s Unique Black & White Series

Get ready to swing into action with Prime Video’s latest series, “Spider-Noir”! Starring Nicolas Cage as the gritty gumshoe Ben Reilly, aka The Spider, this unique show takes us back to 1930s New York where Ben navigates being the city’s only superhero. The recent trailer introduces Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane, a ruthless crime boss straight from the pages of the Spider-Man comics.

For Cage, this marks his first leading role in a TV series, and the trailer gives us a glimpse into Ben’s tough life as he grapples with his past, his powers, and the dangerous enemy in Gleeson’s character. Premiering at the CCXPMX26 festival in Mexico City, “Spider-Noir” also features an impressive cast including Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, and Jack Huston.

What sets “Spider-Noir” apart is its unique presentation—you can choose to watch it in “Authentic Black & White” or “True-Hue Full Color.” Inspired by the comic “Spider-Man Noir,” this series stands on its own and is not part of the Spider-Man universe or the Spider-Verse franchise.

With Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot at the helm, “Spider-Noir” promises to deliver a fresh take on the classic superhero story. Keep an eye out for its premiere on May 27 and be sure to catch the exciting trailer below.
