Oprah’s Podcast Now Available on Amazon Streaming Services
Oprah Winfrey is expanding her podcast empire with a new multiyear licensing deal with Amazon, bringing her popular show to even more listeners. Starting in July, you can catch two episodes a week on Prime Video, Amazon Music, Fire TV channels, and Audible. Don’t worry if you usually listen on YouTube or other platforms, new episodes will still be available there too.
If you’ve enjoyed Oprah’s engaging interviews with authors, celebrities, and other notable figures on YouTube, you can expect more of the same format in her Amazon podcast. Plus, she’ll be creating specials based on her beloved Oprah’s Favorite Things and Oprah’s Book Club franchises exclusively for Amazon. And the icing on the cake? Amazon is also licensing all 25 seasons of The Oprah Winfrey Show, though details on how they’ll be repurposed are still in the works.
Amazon has been making big moves in the podcasting world, splitting its Wondery company and forming a new division called Creator Services to handle celebrity-hosted shows. With hits like New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce and Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard in their roster, Amazon is quickly becoming a powerhouse in the podcasting space. Oprah’s Book Club will be closely tied to Audible, Kindle, Goodreads, and the Amazon storefront, with a special focus on products featured in Oprah’s annual Favorite Things list.
As more and more media companies join the podcasting game, it’s clear that the platform is here to stay. With Oprah’s podcast now joining the ranks of Amazon’s streaming services, fans of her iconic TV show will have even more content to enjoy. Whether you listen for entertainment or background noise, Oprah’s insightful interviews are sure to keep you engaged.
