HBCU Gameday Original Series Now Available on Prime Video

An inside look into the world of Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) football has evolved into an exciting original series called Brick x Brick. What started as a behind-the-scenes peek at a program finding its way has now turned into a multi-season docuseries, traveling far beyond the realm of HBCU football and now streaming on Prime Video.

The series, spanning three seasons and 19 episodes, captures the incredible journey of the JCSU football program. It’s a story of transformation from uncertainty to identity, from rebuilding to breakthrough. Just like the program itself, the series has grown and evolved with each season, adding depth and context to the narrative. It’s more than just content—it’s a real, tangible record of progress.

From its humble beginnings as a spring ball segment, Brick x Brick expanded into a popular YouTube series. Now, it’s made its way to Prime Video, reaching a global audience while staying true to its roots. The journey mirrors the program’s rise, step by step, platform by platform.

Not only is Brick x Brick with JCSU Football available on Prime Video, but it has also found a home on other popular streaming platforms, including Filmhub-backed streamer Relay and the Remy Network founded by hip-hop artist Remy Ma. Each platform added reach and validation to the series, culminating in its current availability on the world stage of streaming platforms.

While earlier seasons are now immortalized on streaming platforms, the story is far from over. Season 4 is currently in production, taking viewers back to the practice fields and meeting rooms where the magic began. From offseason training with NFL presence Emanuel Wilson to rising star Fabian Duncan stepping into a leadership role, the journey continues with new chapters being written every day.

As Season 4 progresses, a feature-length season finale titled “Not Done Yet” is set to release this summer. Focused on Johnson C. Smith’s CIAA championship and NCAA playoff run, it marks a pivotal moment in the story. What comes next is anyone’s guess, but Season 4 episodes are slated to follow in the fall, carrying the narrative beyond the championship win and into the future of sustaining success.
