This global campaign is kicking off this spring and summer, inviting fans to join the crew for a thrilling monster-fighting adventure.

Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 takes us back to the familiar world of Hawkins, Indiana, but with a new twist. The gang faces new monsters and uncovers paranormal mysteries, keeping up the high stakes and ‘80s nostalgia that made the original series a worldwide hit. McDonald’s was the perfect partner to bring this adventure to life – what better way to introduce a new generation of Stranger Things fans to Hawkins than through such an iconic ‘80s staple?

The story begins with mysterious monsters spreading across Hawkins, taking over the local McDonald’s. Luckily, Dustin and the gang have formed the Hawkins Investigators Club, but they can’t defeat this new threat alone. That’s where you come in! Enlist in the mission by scanning the QR code included with every Happy Meal to play an interactive game where you will face the creature head-on.

The Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 Happy Meals will include a custom box inspired by the series, one of 12 collectible character toys (depending on the market), a Stranger Things activity book, and a QR code that unlocks a digital experience with an interactive game to help save Hawkins (and McDonald’s) from the monsters.
