Ponies Nominated for Emmys Comedy with Emilia Clarke as Lead Actress

Peacock is getting ready to make a big splash at the Emmys with their comedy series “Ponies.” The spy dramedy, produced by Universal Television, is gearing up for an all-out campaign across 20 different categories at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards.

The show will be pushing for nominations in various categories, with Emilia Clarke eyeing a nod for lead comedy actress for her role as Bea. Clarke plays an over-educated CIA operative with a fascinating backstory. She will also be in the running for Outstanding Comedy Series as an executive producer.

Her co-star, Haley Lu Richardson, who plays the fearless Twila, will be aiming for a supporting actress nomination. The rest of the talented cast, including Adrian Lester, Artjom Gilz, Nicholas Podany, Petro Ninovskyi, and Vic Michaelis, will also be seeking recognition in the supporting performer categories.
