‘Saturday Night Live’ Star Joins Cast of New Peacock Drama Series

It looks like Colin Jost might be making a big move from Saturday Night Live to a new drama series on Peacock! According to Variety, the streaming service is working on a project based on the true crime podcast Wolves Among Us, focusing on the fascinating story of Larry Lavin, a dentist with a double life as a cocaine kingpin.

In this upcoming series, Jost will not only star as Larry, but also take on the role of executive producer. The show is being spearheaded by Jeff Grosvenor from Jost’s No Notes Production banner, alongside showrunner Alex Barnow and Rachel Kaplan from Absecon Entertainment. The project promises to bring to life the shocking and bizarre tale of a suburban dentist who built a drug empire under the guise of the American dream.

For those worried about Jost leaving SNL, fear not! If the Peacock series gets the green light, it won’t affect his role on the long-running comedy show.
