New LGBT+ Streaming Content April 2026: Netflix, Peacock, AMC+, HBO Max, Hulu & More

April has a lot in store for fans of streaming entertainment, especially those looking for lesbian, bisexual, and queer characters on their screens.

Last month, I discovered a lesbian character on “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat,” and it’s a fantastic show. Hulu’s adaptation of “The Handmaid’s Tale” sequel, “The Testaments,” arrives on April 8, while Apple TV debuts “Margot’s Got Money Trouble,” a series about a young mother turning to OnlyFans to support her baby, on April 15. Although I didn’t find explicit queer representation in it, I enjoyed watching it nonetheless.

Dan Levy’s “Big Mistakes” hits Netflix on April 9, offering a different but intriguing perspective. The show isn’t girl gay, but it’s very guy gay, so that’s something to look forward to if you’re a fan of his work.

For those of you eagerly awaiting new LGBTQ+ content, here are some premieres to mark in your calendar:
– “The Valley: Season 3 Premiere” on April 1/2 on Bravo/Peacock featuring a lesbian wedding
– “Long Time Listener” on April 2 on AMC All BLK, presenting a thriller with a bisexual main character
– “XO Kitty: Season 3 Premiere” on April 2 on Netflix, exploring romantic dramas at KISS
– “Hacks: Season 5 Premiere” on April 9 on HBO Max, promising a compelling story with new characters

– “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” on April 10 on Hulu, revealing new family dynamics
