Exciting New Star-Studded Thriller Movie Available for Home Streaming

Prime Video has recently added the thrilling crime movie, Crime 101, which was just in theaters a few weeks ago. Based on a novella by renowned author Don Winslow, the film is set in Los Angeles and follows the story of Mike Davis, played by Chris Hemsworth, an elusive jewel thief known for his non-violent heists along the 101 freeway.

The plot revolves around Lou, a dedicated cop portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, who is convinced that all these robberies are the work of one man, Mike. As Lou closes in on Mike, the gentleman thief plans one last heist in hopes of riding off into the sunset with his new love interest, played by Monica Barbaro.

Things get more complicated when an insurance broker played by Halle Berry and a younger rival robber, played by Barry Keoghan, get caught up in Mike’s scheme, raising the stakes even higher.

Upon its release, Crime 101 received a rave review from JOE. The film was praised for its contemporary themes, action-packed sequences, and unique take that sets it apart from classic ’90s heist films like Heat. Irish actor Barry Keoghan’s performance in a supporting role was particularly commended for his portrayal of Ormon, a biker rival to Chris Hemsworth’s character.
