Houston Dash Players Named to U.S. Women’s National Team Roster for April Matches

US Soccer announced that Houston Dash captain, Jane Campbell, and defender, Avery Patterson, have been called up to the US Women’s National Team roster for three friendly matches against Japan in April. The USWNT will face the champions of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in three consecutive games during the FIFA window. The first match is set for April 11 at PayPal Park in San Jose, California, followed by games on April 14 in Seattle, Washington, and April 17 in Commerce City, Colorado. All matches will be available to stream live on HBO Max and Peacock.

Campbell, the Dash captain, has had a strong start to the 2026 NWSL season, recording back-to-back clean sheets in the opening games. She earned Player of the Week and Save of the Week nominations for her performance and has a total of 44 career regular season shutouts. Patterson, on the other hand, has made 10 national team appearances since her debut in April 2025. She signed a multi-year contract extension with the Dash after an impressive 2025 season, where she was named to the NWSL Best XI First Team and nominated for Defender of the Year. Patterson contributed to five goals last season while making a significant defensive impact.

Both players will join the USWNT after Houston Dash’s match on April 3 at Shell Energy Stadium. The team will be hosting Racing Louisville FC for the first of two Pups at the Pitch matches this season. Tickets for this match and all Houston Dash matches are available via Tixr, the Club’s official ticket provider.
