Netflix Increases Price for All Plans to $27/Month

Netflix Premium now costs $27 per month, making it the most expensive standalone streaming service option. The Standard plan, which is now priced at $20 per month, used to cost the same as the Premium plan back in 2023.
All the plans remain the same in terms of features, with the only change being the price increase. The Standard with ads plan still includes ads and locked titles, with 1080p content available for viewing on two devices simultaneously. The Standard plan is ad-free, supports viewing on two devices in 1080p, while the Premium plan offers 4K HDR streaming on up to four devices and includes spatial audio.
All new and existing subscribers will see these price increases, with new members being charged the new prices as of today, and existing subscribers being notified a month in advance before the new prices apply to their accounts.
In a statement to Variety, Netflix mentioned that they are updating their pricing to reflect the additional value they are offering to their customers. Their goal is to provide a range of prices and plans to meet different needs, while reinvesting in quality entertainment and improving their members’ viewing experience.
So, if you’re a Netflix subscriber, be prepared to see a small increase in your monthly bill. While no one likes to see prices go up, hopefully, the improved content and viewing experience will make the change easier to swallow.
