Special Ops: Lioness Removed from Netflix Globally, No Season 2-3

Special Ops: Lioness, the popular espionage thriller from Paramount, is set to say goodbye to Netflix in several international regions in mid-April 2026. Starring Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and Nicole Kidman, this action-packed series follows a CIA operative on a mission to dismantle a terrorist organization from the inside.

This departure from Netflix comes as part of Paramount’s strategy to license certain shows to the streaming giant, with Special Ops: Lioness being available in 9 countries for a year. Despite not being available on Netflix US, the series has garnered over 100 million hours of viewership, impressively!

If you’re in countries like Canada, Australia, or Latin America, be sure to catch the show before it leaves Netflix on April 16th or 17th, depending on your location. But if you’re in the UK, Germany, or Italy, you have a bit more time to binge-watch, as the show arrived later in those regions.

So, if you’re a fan of Special Ops: Lioness, make sure to catch it on Netflix before it moves exclusively to Paramount+ in the departing regions. And if you want to keep up with Season 2 and potentially Season 3, Paramount+ is the place to be. Share your thoughts on the show leaving Netflix in the comments below!
