Amagi AI Artwork Engine Launches for Global Streaming TV News Check

Amagi, a company known for its cloud-native SaaS platforms for broadcast and streaming TV, has introduced a new AI-driven artwork engine as part of its Amagi NOW platform. This technology enables media companies to effortlessly transform raw video into eye-catching promotional artwork within the Amagi ecosystem.

Powered by Amagi Intelligence, the AI layer developed by the company, this new feature automates the creation of various artwork styles for fast, OTT, connected TV, and social media channels. This addresses the challenge of creating multiple artwork versions, each tailored to different platforms and audiences – a process that was previously time-consuming and labor-intensive.

The engine analyzes video frames to identify the most visually compelling image that encapsulates the essence of a title’s narrative. Editorial teams can then review and approve the base artwork, which is then automatically converted into different formats such as 16:9 for CTV, 9:16 for mobile, and 1:1 for social media.

According to Srividhya Srinivasan, Amagi’s co-founder and CTO, the rapid expansion of streaming platforms has outpaced the capacity of human creators. By leveraging AI to understand the core story of a video, creative teams can now streamline their workflows and focus on maintaining the integrity of their content while keeping up with the fast-paced streaming industry.

This new workflow is seamlessly integrated into Amagi’s Media Manager, featuring role-based access controls and audit trails to ensure secure and efficient collaboration. The tool is designed to reduce turnaround times from days to mere minutes, ensuring consistent brand presentation across all distribution platforms.

The AI-driven artwork generation capabilities are now available to Amagi NOW customers, with a broader rollout planned for the second quarter of 2026. Amagi will showcase this groundbreaking technology at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, scheduled for April 18-22, offering a glimpse into the future of content creation and distribution in the streaming landscape.
