UCF Men’s Basketball Team Headed to NCAA Tournament

The UCF men’s basketball team is officially on their way to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in seven years! It’s a big deal, folks. They snagged an at-large bid and are coming in hot as the No. 10 seed. Exciting stuff!
The Knights will be facing off against UCLA, the 7-seed, on Friday, March 20, at 7:25 p.m. You can catch the game on TBS, stream it on HBO Max, or tune in to NCAA March Madness Live. UCF is representing the Big 12 conference proud, as one of eight teams from the league heading to the big dance.
In terms of their bracket, UCF landed in the East Region with powerhouse Duke taking the top seed. The Knights will tip-off their first match in Philadelphia at Xfinity Mobile Arena. It’s going to be a showdown as UCF (21-11) takes on UCLA (23-11) for the very first time in school history. UCLA has been on a roll, winning six of their last eight games. They even took down Rutgers and Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament before falling to Purdue.
If UCF comes out on top in their first game, they’ll be facing the winner of the UConn vs. Furman matchup on Sunday, March 22. It’s going to be quite the journey for the Knights, with sights set on the Final Four happening April 4-6 in Indianapolis.
