Fatal Crash on I-680 in Omaha: OPD Reports
Tragic news from Omaha this Sunday morning as reports from Omaha Police confirm that one person has died in a crash on I-680. The incident occurred near 72nd street at around 3:30 a.m.
At the scene, authorities found a damaged GMC SUV. According to investigators, the SUV was traveling east when it veered left. In an attempt to correct its course, the driver overcompensated, causing the vehicle to roll and ejecting the driver. Tragically, the 46-year-old man behind the wheel was pronounced dead at the scene.
