Paramount+ launching ‘Making Love’ reality dating show in 2027
Paramount+ recently announced the production of a new unscripted relationship series called “Making Love,” set to launch on the service in 2027 by Kinetic Content, the creator behind popular Netflix shows like “Love Is Blind,” “The Ultimatum,” and “Perfect Match.”
“Making Love” will be joining other original unscripted shows on Paramount+ like “Survivor,” “The Challenge,” and “Big Brother.” Described as a “bold new relationship experiment,” the show will have singles taking their dating lives into their hands, trying to find lasting love.
According to Jane Wiseman, head of originals at Paramount+, “Making Love” aligns with the premium content audiences love. She mentioned how they are excited to bring a fresh and unexpected take on reality dating to Paramount+.
The series will be created and executive produced by Chris Coelen, the CEO of Kinetic Content. Kinetic Content is under the North Road Company, founded by former 20th Century Fox executive Peter Chernin, which is in the process of being acquired by Mediawan, an independent European studio.
Chris Coelen expressed his excitement about the show, calling it an original opportunity for participants to find lasting love. He looks forward to collaborating with the Paramount+ team on this project.
