Netflix unveils new Mark Rober series ‘Schooled!’ with creative science challenges
Netflix is gearing up to debut an exciting new series called “Schooled!” created by Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer turned content creator. In this competition series, student teams will face off in innovative and explosive science challenges within the setting of a fully gamified school. The mission? To seek out the next generation of inventors, makers, and engineers. Winners will have the chance to walk away with a life-changing prize.
Mark Rober will not only be hosting the series but will also serve as an executive producer alongside Scott Lewers for CrunchLabs and Jimmy Kimmel and Scott Lonker for Kimmelot. Daniel Calin will be the showrunner and an executive producer as well.
Netflix is currently on the hunt for school-aged participants to join the show, with open casting sessions in full swing. While an official release date has not yet been announced, fans can look forward to seeing this epic showdown on their screens soon.
Mark Rober, who founded CrunchLabs in 2022 to inspire and educate kids and learners in the fields of science and engineering, started a show of the same name in November 2025. With over 12 million views in just two months, the show has been a major hit. Viewers can anticipate more episodes dropping on March 16, so mark your calendars!
Excited about the opportunity to partner with Netflix and Jimmy Kimmel on “Schooled!,” Rober expressed his enthusiasm for the show, stating, “Our series is about giving kids a platform big enough for their ideas. This will be the ultimate science playground for creativity and innovation.”
