Winter Olympics: How to Watch

The penultimate day of the Milan Cortina Games at the 2026 Winter Olympics brought some historic moments to the forefront. Perhaps the biggest news of the day was Norway’s Johannes Klaebo, who etched his name in the history books by winning the cross-country 50km men’s mass start and claiming his sixth gold medal of the Games. This victory also marked his 11th career gold, setting a new record for the most gold medals won by an athlete in Winter Olympic history.

In addition to Klaebo’s impressive feat, there were seven other gold medals awarded on this action-packed day. Canada secured a thrilling 9-6 victory over Great Britain in the curling final, while the American team triumphed in the freestyle skiing mixed team aerials event. Kaillie Humphries and Jasmine Jones stood on the podium after winning the 2-woman bobsled competition, earning Humphries her sixth Olympic medal. Meanwhile, Finland dominated Slovakia 6-1 to clinch the bronze in men’s hockey.
