Review: Sterling K. Brown Returns in ‘Paradise’ Season 2 on Hulu

If you’ve been tuning into Hulu’s post-apocalyptic drama Paradise, you know that emotional rollercoaster is an understatement. This series, created by Dan Fogelman of This Is Us fame, is expert at tugging at your heartstrings. You’ll find yourself shedding tears over characters facing unimaginable despair, feeling pure joy as they rediscover the little things in life, and experiencing warmth as lonely souls come together in the midst of darkness.

But as the episodes of the second season unfolded, I couldn’t help but notice some frustrating moments creeping in. Little plot holes started to add up, and promising storylines fizzled out without a satisfying conclusion. While Paradise has always been more about emotions than logic, this season takes it to the next level, making the whole show feel a bit off-kilter.

Overall, Paradise delivers plenty of heartfelt moments, but it could use a bit more brainpower to round out the viewing experience. If you’re a fan of Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, or Nicole Brydon Bloom, you won’t want to miss the next episode airing on Monday, Feb. 23 on Hulu.
