G Flip’s Cover of a Famous Rock Anthem for AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026
G Flip is taking the music world by storm as she provides the official anthem for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026. The Melbourne-born singer-songwriter has reimagined the classic rock anthem “All Fired Up” by Aussie rock band Rattling Sabres, made famous by US artist Pat Benatar.
“I’ve always been a fan of women’s sports and I’m thrilled to be a part of this exciting opportunity to create an anthem for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup,” G Flip shared. “Representation is crucial, and I hope that moments like this tournament inspire young people to follow their dreams and show support for women’s sports.”
The tournament’s anthem was introduced with a live performance at Endeavour Sports High School in Sydney, where G Flip was joined by Matilda’s veteran Chloe Logarzo-Berryhill. “Having represented Australia with the Tillies for years, meeting these young players who may one day wear that jersey is a beautiful way to kick off the Asian Cup,” Logarzo-Berryhill expressed.
The excitement doesn’t stop there, as Louise Crompton, VP Marketing and Growth at Paramount+, mentioned, “We wanted to create something bold and impactful to champion the tournament, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for women’s sports and inspiring more fans to support the game.” The AFC Women’s Asian Cup begins on Sunday, March 1st, with Australia facing off against the Philippines at 8 pm.
