UFC 326 to Air on CBS as Part of New Paramount Deal

CBS is diving into the world of UFC with an exciting announcement that part of UFC 326 will be airing on the network on March 7. This marks the official debut of the UFC on CBS, and fans are in for a treat as they will get to watch a rematch between Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira for the “BMF” title.

The event will be a simulcast on Paramount+, with the broadcast set to run from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET on CBS. During this time, viewers can catch the final hour of the prelims for UFC 326, followed by the first hour of the main card from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The rest of the main card, including the main event, will be exclusively available on Paramount+.

While the complete lineup for UFC 326 is yet to be finalized, the specific fights that will air on CBS during the two-hour broadcast remain unknown. This move comes as part of the UFC’s giant $7.7 billion deal to transition from ESPN to Paramount, with the elimination of the pay-per-view model for numbered events like UFC 326. Subscribers can now access these events on Paramount+ at no additional cost.

After the success of the first UFC event on Paramount+ in January, with nearly 5 million viewers tuning in, anticipation is high for UFC 326. Aside from the headlining match between Holloway and Oliveira, the card will also feature compelling matchups such as a middleweight showdown between Reinier de Ridder and Caio Borralho, as well as former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt taking on Xiao Long.

Stay tuned for more updates on UFC 326 and upcoming events as the UFC continues to make exciting moves in the world of sports entertainment.
