Disney Q1 2026 Earnings Report: Disney+ and Hulu Subscriber Numbers Omitted
Disney had a great year-end quarter in 2025, thanks to hits like “Zootopia 2” and “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” Their streaming revenue jumped 72%, but they’re no longer sharing Disney+ and Hulu subscriber numbers.
Total revenue for Disney hit $25.98 billion for the quarter ending Dec. 27, 2025, with net income before taxes at $3.69 billion. Adjusted earnings per share were down 7% to $1.63.
Entertainment revenue went up by 7%, driven by “Zootopia 2” and “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” along with higher revenue from Disney+ and Hulu after price increases. Disney’s theme parks and products also did well, with a record $10 billion in revenue and a 6% rise in operating income to $3.3 billion.
Overall operating income for the company decreased by 9% to $4.6 billion for the quarter. It’s clear that Disney’s entertainment business is thriving, with big successes on both the big and small screens.
