Chase Sui Wonders Teases ‘The Studio’ Season 2: “Pushing The Needle” One Week In
With Season 2 of The Studio in full swing, and Hollywood experiencing a whirlwind of changes, get ready for even more laughs coming your way.
Chase Sui Wonders, known for her role as junior studio exec Quinn Hackett on the Apple TV+ series, spilled the beans at Deadline’s Sundance Studio. She mentioned that co-creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are really stepping it up with the second season of their Golden Globe-winning satire.
“It’s definitely a level up,” Wonders shared at the Sundance Film Festival. “We’ve already started filming, and I think everyone is laughing harder and louder than they did last season, even in our first week.”
Excitingly, Wonders hinted, “I can’t say much, but there are some familiar faces that you’ll be very excited to see making fun of themselves.”
After snagging the Golden Globe for Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy recently, along with Rogen winning Best Actor, he mentioned that they’ve managed to rope in “a few people” for cameo appearances. Rogen added, “This is a good poaching ground for us.”
Fans can expect some real-life occurrences to influence the show, as Rogen noted, “Several things happened today and leading up to this event that we’ve written directly into the show,” with production set to kick off the following week.
Wonders is currently in Park City, promoting her new film, “I Want Your Sex,” directed by Gregg Araki. Meanwhile, Rogen is also in town for his movie, “The Invite,” a marital dramedy with Olivia Wilde.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates about Season 2 of The Studio.
